An all-green EDC

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! In the spirit of the holiday, and a teaser for our upcoming everyday carry series, we’ve put together an all-green everyday carry. Finding green gear is surprisingly easy (OD green everything!) but we tried to mix things up by going outside the typical camo shades (although we certainly love camo, too). Green is one of the best colors–it represents nature and vitality, and an abundance of green tends to signify the emerging spring. Here are five green items you can pair together or mix and match with your other gear.

The Izula is one of the most popular fixed blade knives to EDC; it’s versatile, affordable and cleanly-designed. Add a bright paracord to the handle, or tone down the neon; either way, this knife is fun and endlessly useful for those who like to EDC fixed blades. The Izula also comes in a forest green, too.

We’ve written about the Gerber 9-in-1 Crucial Multitool before as part of our EDC on a Budget series, and we still think it’s a cool-looking and functional multitool for everyday use. And the pop of green with the gray adds some color while still pairing well with neutral items.

The Timex Weekender is one of the best EDC watches; it’s super affordable, and the clean face means that you can pair it with nearly every type of strap possible. It’s also easy to dress up or dress down, and can withstand everyday wear and tear.

I could talk forever about the benefits of carrying a notebook, but I’ve done that quite a bit already. Beyond the value of having paper when you need it (which comes in handy more often than you’d think), it’s also an easy way to add pattern and texture to an EDC. I love the size and feel of Word. Notebooks, and the interior guides are excellent for productivity. They also have two different covers featuring predominately green camo print, too, for those of you who like a bit of modern tactical in your EDC (see featured image).

Cambridge Satchel Co. bags are impeccably made and great for stylish working professionals. I personally have the green 15 in. satchel, and not a day goes by that someone on the street doesn’t ask me about it. It’s sturdy and durable, and the front pocket is great for small EDC gear. This also comes in a mint green and a deep forest green.
