Battlbox is a subscription box for gear fans

We’ve written about subscription boxes before, and I love the idea of getting awesome, curated items delivered to me on a regular basis. I’ve thought about the potential for an everyday carry box for a while, since it seems like the perfect application for trying new gear. Battlbox, a survival and tactical gear subscription, is perfect for EDCers who want to try gear handpicked by their crew. As they say on their website, “Our unique idea, we feel, is something that will revolutionize the term EDC and will help educate even the non-preppers, turning them into seasoned survival specialists.” We can get behind that.

There are three subscription levels for Battlbox. On the most basic level, which starts at $24.99/mo, subscribers will receive two to four items. The three subsequent plans—-at $49.99, $99.99 and $149.99—-offer considerably more. The highest plan is a Knife of the Month club on top of the gear from the lower plans, and the knives are from popular brands like Kershaw, Spyderco or Columbia River Knife & Tool. So if you want to diversify your EDC every month without breaking the bank, this might be a good option for you.
